The Christmas Season has officially begun!

Christmas spirit took over the minute I laid eyes on China Glaze's Party Hearty. What a GORGEOUS glitter!  I really didn't wanna mess with it, since it is so adorable and almost overwhelming.

I used Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in Red Carpet. It looks very much like China Glaze's classic Ruby Pumps, but costs only $2.  Its a red jelly with a blue undertone, filled with millions of tiny sparkles that is very easy to apply, opaque in 2 coats and appears to glow from within, soooo cute by itself.

Then, I applied one coat, ONE, of China Glaze Party Hearty.  It applies like a dream! Most of the time, when you use a glitter top coat, the glitter ends up on the tip of your nail because it drags with every brushstroke, but not Party Hearty.  It distributes evenly, and it has red, green, silver and gold glitters in all kinds of shapes and sizes. These pictures seriously can't capture the awesomeness that Party Hearty is.

I know this post is lacking "nail art" and that is probably the main reason why you guys read this blog, but I couldn't resist this amazing christmasy combination and truth is, lately i've been missing wearing just a beautiful new shade (or one on top of another one :P). 

I hope you like it, I sure do.  I feel like a super fun Christmas party exploded in my hands.  I'm happy.
